Daily Design Inspiration – Snook

I love everything about this redesign from Jonathon Snook. Its such a well balanced minimal web design that doesn’t feel empty or underdeveloped like some other minimal sites do. The subtle background texture and the elegant fixed positioning of the logo really make this stand out as one of my favourite designs for 2009.

The only thing I would change would be a better menu structure for navigating through the incredible back catalogue/archive of posts … but thats such a minor point anyway. I guess there is an inherent issue in trying to organise an uncluttered menu based on so many posts.
